2015 NAB Cup: Week 1

Today we will accomplish two things the first is that I will release my picks for the annual Australian Football League competition. Second, I will make picks for the first week of the preseason tournament. My season predictions do not influence the end of pre-season rankings, however I will not predict the other weeks of the NAB cup as it is too unpredictable results due primarily to nine-point "supergoals" or regular goals kicked and scored from beyond the fifty meter mark.

Please note that the matches are rather meaningless given the constant change of the format and the length of matches are roughly half of the normal.

West Coast def. Carlton
Brisbane def. St. Kilda
Western Bulldogs def. by Richmond
Adelaide def. by North Melbourne
Gold Coast def. by Geelong

2015 NLL Power Rankings: Week 8

1. (1) Toronto – Appearead to struggle at times with Black Wolves, still got the job done.
2. (2) Edmonton – Not sure how week off will fair.
3. (4) Colorado – Despite the rough go with New England, it isn't a division win to help widen a gap.
4. (3) Buffalo – Better, but David once again couldn't slay Goliath.
5. (7) Rochester – Picked up where they left off with Bandits, followed by change in Uncasville.
6. (5) Vancouver – Calgary may be winless, but Vancouver didn't show any significant prowess.
7. (6) New England – Not the last of the Mohegans, but improvement needs to come fast.
8. (8) Minnesota – Week off helps put Week 7 behind them.
9. (9) Calgary – Finally in the win column with the monkey off their back, or maybe keep it as a rally monkey.

Quarrel for the Quaffle

This is (I think) the first concept of any kind in the new year. An acquaintance of mine is apparantly big on this and accordingly so, one has been made in the form of Medaille College. As you may recall, I posted the template prior to 2015.

That being said, I created a Springfield College uniform as there was an intramural league before my arrival there. I hope this gets us on the right foot again.

1000 Strong

A thousand posts passed in a little less than three years over 1,002 days and were still here. Amazing isn't it? In any event, we have the celebratory mood and taking a day off after this:

The counter now moves in all four placeholders. Party like it's 1999!
